Vtg 1965 WILSON THORP Detroit Lions Game Used Team Signed FOOTBALL HOFers!

Description

This is an original Wilson, Thorp Sporting Goods Official NFL Football, game used, and signed by the 1965 Detroit Lions.  The Lions had painted the ball and each member signed the ball on just two (2) panels using a very fine ball point pen.  Some of the signatures are tough to make out due to the age of the ball but also due to the fine point pen - unlike today's balls that are signed using a silver paint pen.
You've seen what plain Thorp balls go for in horrible shape.  Now you have a chance to own a nice one - excellent condition, painted and signed by the Detroit Lions.  Ball of course does not hold air, however you can have a new bladder installed by several companies.  Additionally, some of the white coating of the laces has come off as shown in the photos - but typically the ball has new old laces installed when a new bladder is installed.
Ball will be wrapped up and packaged very well.
The ball is signed by four (4) Hall of Fame Players.  Alex Karras, Dick "Nighttrain" Lane, Dick LeBeau, and Joe Schmidt.
