Freylinsky cipher , freylinsky monogram , freylinsky sign cipher monogram  - at the Russian imperial court gold, studded with diamonds insignia , worn by court ladies in the office ladies .
It was a brooch in the form of one initial ( monogram ) of the empress; or two intertwined initials of the empress and her mother-in-law - the dowager empress (this sign was called "double"). The maids of honor of the grand duchesses and princesses also had their own monograms  . The composition was crowned with a stylized imperial crown. They were worn on a bow in the color of St. Andrew's blue ribbon , attached to the dress on the left side of the corsage . "To be bestowed in cipher" - meant to receive a court appointment to the post of maid of honor.
