  • Condition: The vest is a typical KLASHENIC from the district of Gorni Bitolske Sela. It is dating between the World Wars. The vest and and the apron are examples of everyday wear for women in Macedonia, both woven in heavy wool to keep warm while working in the fields in wintertime. The woolen stockings would also keep the feet comfortable. All items are in very good condition, due to the age the vest has some signs of tear and wear. There is a little miscolouring under one of the stockings.Every part is handmade and very well done! The dress, KOSHULA, is of younger date, it has very nice embroidery along neck and bottom sleeves, lace around bottom hem. Made of cotton and sewn by hand.
