This is what is known as a chimney pot or fireplace cap . It was salvaged off of a home in the Encino area along with five others that are all being auctioned separate i'm not sure if it's true origin or age but I am led to believe that this piece is European and is what is known as the king Arthur chess set "The King" . It appears to be an overall good condition I did notice a few nicks on each corner of the crown and a small chip at the base that would be covered by concrete win at hearing it to the fireplace Does not appear to have any major damage or repairs . When they were on the house they look simply amazing Kings and pawns . This auction is for one chimney pot
