Antique old vest from Porece, hand embroidered with old metal thread, srma

Description

This is a beautiful, unique and very rare vest from the region of Porece in the western part of Macedonia, near the town of Kichevo. The vest was made in the second half of the XIX century and was part of the traditional ethnic women's costume from this region at the end of the XIX century. The vest is kept in a good condition without any significant damages for its age. The vest from this period of this region was hand embroidered with metal thread (old srma. or original srma).
