ANTIQUE NYC 19th C. BRONZE 20" Round VAULT DOOR w/ SEAL OF NEW YORK CITY Relief
An intriguing 19th century solid bronze vault door displaying an unusual early Seal of New York City relief.  It measures 20" in diameter and about 4" deep.  It is very heavy, weighing some 175lbs, and is showing expected wear from age and handling with some dings and surface wear present.  It is locked closed, with the key missing.  Its origin is unknown, but we know that it was professionally salvaged in the city many years ago.  (We have learned that the seal maybe that of The National City Bank of New York).  This unique find would go well in a collection.  We have described it to the best of our ability and it is sold in as is condition.  Please examine the detailed images provided and email with any questions that you might have.
