This official Johnny Unitas Spalding football contains 38 signatures: Gino Marchetti, John Mackey, Willie Richardson, Butch Wilson, Roy Hilton, Neal Petties, Andy Stynchula, Raymond Berry, Ordell Braase, Gary Cuozzo, Johnny Unitas, Jerry Logan, Lenny Moore, Jim Orr, Al Haymond, Mike Curtis, Tony Lorick, Ted Davis, Bob Boyd, Tom Matte, Lenny Lyles, Lou Michaels, Jim Parker, Fred Miller, Billy Ray Smith, Dan Sullivan, Bob Vogel, Sam Ball, Dale Memmelaar, Alex Sandusky, Don Shinnick, Glenn Ressler, Jerry Hill, Jim Welch, Dick Szymanski, David Lee, Jack Burkett, Dennis Gaubatz.
The Baltimore Colts finished second in the Western Division in 1966 with a 9 - 5 record. The ball includes the signatures of six Hall of Famers.
The condition of the football is above average with some minor wear that is commensurate with its age. All of the signatures are outstanding and rate 8 to 10 in quality. The words “1966 Colts” are penned near the tip of the ball.
